Bolls ApS was founded in 2001 by Kim Boll Jensen, who graduated from the Engineering Academy DIA-E in 1985. Since 1987 he has worked with EMC and type approvals on an international level and has also worked more than 15 years with quality management - including two years as quality manager - and is a certified auditor.

Kim Boll Jensen has for many years carried out type approvals in accordance with most EU directives and has thereby built up a very broad knowledge in the field. He also participates in standardisation work for medical products.

Peter is a trained electronics technician.
With an interest in music and electronics, Peter has worked independently with Pro-audio,
installation, service, product development and manufacturing.
Peter has taught at courses and educational institutions, both at home and abroad.
He has also spent five years at UL Demko, with electrical safety tests of high and low current products.
At Bolls, Peter works with electrical safety approvals, sound measurements and vibrations.

No test is performed better than the limits of the test equipment allow. And correct use, adhesion and calibration of test equipment are among electronics technician Michael Jørgensen's specialties.

At renowned Giga, Michael Jørgensen was responsible for developing the company's equipment for testing extremely fast communication chips, and he has been with us since 2008.

Michael is our EMC test expert with deep knowledge in both testing and troubleshooting. He is also happy to give our customers a helping hand when they want to use our self-testing facilities and need expert knowledge of EMC testing.

If you need advice on standards related to ATEX, Helge Knudsen is the man to talk to. Helge also has a broad knowledge of EMC and RED, which he has worked with for more than 30 years.

As a long-standing member of the Danish Electrotechnical Committee / Danish Standards EMC Committee, Helge Knudsen has been involved in all aspects of EMC, which is why you can safely approach Helge – no matter what problem or task you face.

Eigil Thomsen is one of Denmark's most experienced vibration people. He started his career in the Air Force as a radar specialist and instructor. For 20 years, he was responsible at Brüel &Kjær for the development of the company's vibration equipment, where he was behind the development of some of the world's most advanced equipment for testing the behavior of equipment and components in vibrational environments.

Today, he tests and advises our customers on everything to do with vibration. The earlier Eigil Thomsen is involved in a development project, the better the equipment's ability to handle vibrations.

Lars is freelance affiliated with Bolls and is the owner of Alternatech where he offers assistance in installation, design, service and maintenance, primarily in connection with professional video and audio equipment but also in HF equipment, e.g. satellite reception.
At Bolls, he is both EMC and vibration tester and super good at making all kinds of test solutions for everything in between.
